Dismantle the holder (one screw at the bottom), then loosen the 4 screws and remove the cover and you will see 2 x 2 AA batteries that you can replace. The cover comes off a little more easily through the seal! I hope I could help you. Greetings Bernd

The standard Philips Hue Bridge is sufficient to use the outdoor motion detector (12 m). The motion detector is compatible with the standard Bridge and does not require an upgrade to Bridge Pro.
