I am looking for a sensor that closes the awnings in strong sunlight (via HomeKit). Is such a scenario possible with this motion detector?
Logitech Circle View Apple HomeKit Compatible Security Camera, There is a built-in brightness sensor that is compatible with HomeKit.
Just tested in Homekit, yes it works. You can set the threshold value between 5-6000 lux which then executes a scene.
