Goodness gracious kids, are you Apple disciples? This is worse than standing in an application store queue and waiting for the latest IPhone YX ^^ I ordered it from day one, but as with the previous models, it's the same. OnePlus is NOT available in Switzerland, quite simply. The things are imported and guess what the countries that get it officially do? They sell them themselves in their own countries until a few decide to export them and countries like our technologically neglected Switzerland can import them.

Not me. I also pre-ordered and now the availability has suddenly changed. I wrote to Digitec but didn't get an answer. If you pre-order, you should get the device at the start of sales. And the official sales start is several weeks ago. At Digitec it said 08.06.2018 and now suddenly postponed by several days. Weak...

Hello Flobagob, I bought it and as far as I know, it should work in South Africa. Keep in mind that it is an open phone. But please do your own research because I do not have a final answer for you. I can tell you that I tested it with multiple sim-cards from Europe and America without issues. Here you have more technical information: Check the "Connectivity" section of the following link https://www.oneplus.com/global/6/specs Look for the "Bands" and make sure that your mobile provider in South Africa is compatible with those Bands (it should be compatible but ask them which bands and frequencies are they using). I paste here the Bands form that web: ---------- LTE/LTE-A DL 4CA/256QAM, UL CA/64QAM, 4x4 MIMO Supports up to DL CAT16/ UL CAT13 (1Gbps/150 Mbps) depending on carrier support Bands FDD LTE: Band 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/17/18/19/20/25/26/28/29/30/32/66/71 TDD LTE: Band 34/38/39/40/41 TD-SCDMA: Band 34/39 UMTS(WCDMA): Band 1/2/4/5/8/9/19 CDMA: BC0/BC1 GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz ---------- As extra information, for the ones that are interested in checking compatibility in some countries, you can go to the link: https://www.oneplus.com/global/6/specs and click the option "Check carrier compatibility".
