Questions about Nikon WU-1b, radio adapter

Hello Alexander. I used to have the WU-1b, but I have since disposed of it. Unfortunately, the connection does not fit the D300 (see https://www.nikonusa.com/en_US/IMG/Images/Learn-Explore/Camera-Technology/D-SLR/2013/Shooting-with-Remotes/Media/Nikon-remotes-compatibility-chart.pdf). I tested the DING on the D600, but couldn't really use it. The thing is only suitable - in my view - for studio photography anyway. It is also slow in data transfer. And yes, the thing does need quite a bit of power (ideally connect the camera directly to an appropriate power supply). Greetings. Robert
