Nanoleaf Canvas Smarter Kit (9 Panels)
900 lm
One starter kit is recommended per 25 panels. So the answer to your question is yes you can.
With the new update of the app, the firmware update should work again. It was really annoying, I had the same problem.
The Smarter Set contains 9 light panels each. (A starter kit for 25 panels is recommended).
I have the Android app and can't find any shortcomings! I can operate and set everything, and it works well. Firmware update of the Nanoleafs also worked.
As soon as the power supply unit is switched on, the system is always under voltage via the controller. So depending on how many leafs are installed, because each of them also needs a low standby consumption, the total will be the same. I have not yet researched data sheets with the corresponding technical details. The power consumption only becomes =0A when the power supply unit is disconnected from the mains. If the APP IFTTT is used as an application, the controller or the entire system must be permanently supplied.
Thank you for your feedback. We regret that the app is not up to scratch.
Hi Jens. The Nanoleaf tiles contain a web API and can be controlled via http requests. This is quite easy if you want to do it yourself. Additionally Nanoleaf offers an integration to various products. Here are 3 links https://forum.nanoleaf.me/ https://forum.nanoleaf.me/forum/community-support/how-to-access-to-nano-leaf-panels-through-http https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/questionandanswer/gibt-es-eine-moeglichkeit-die-steuerung-ueber-api-bei-nanoleaf-canvas-zu-nutzen-oder-steht-dies-nur--186684 As far as I know, only the Nanoleaf LED bulb can be controlled via Zigbee. btw: you can send an http request via any browser.
No, you can't...
You don't have to worry about that. If you don't fix it to the ceiling. I've had mine on the wall for several years without any problems.
I used tesa powerstrips (3 per tile). the adhesive strips supplied do not have a good reputation on the net for being removable.
One panel has 100 lumens, so the 900 are probably for all of them together. But I would only see the value for white light.
... have spent what feels like an eternity in the same trouble. Solution: 1. Press only the two buttons Dim-Minus and Power. 2. do not press too hard Tip: practice with a soft reset ... Panel switched on. Wait until the panels light up. Then gently press the Dim-Minus and Power buttons simultaneously. Remain like this until all keys flash quickly. Release the buttons. and then the panels have "forgotten" the Wifi connections. Then you should be able to re-pair the panels with - if on the same Wifi and in the same 2.4Mhz band! Good luck
The nanoleaf canvas can also be controlled via the api. As described in the API documentation. I used the API to integrate my Nanoleaf Canvas via openhab and it works without any problems.
ZigBee is only a radio standard! Only the manufacturer can clearly state whether devices are really functionally compatible. Reading the forums in advance can protect you from making a bad purchase. Or simply try it out ;) it's fun, but time-consuming and expensive. It doesn't work for me with the radio components from DresdenElektronik. However, with the APP IFTTT and Flic, you could start programming yourself, but it's still rather tedious...
