Hey, I would say so. The air conditioning in our 45 square metre room (albeit with a sloping roof, so less volume) cools it down by several degrees. With an outside temperature of 32 degrees and what felt like 25 degrees inside, it took a few hours (approx. 1-2) until it was noticeably colder. We didn't measure everything, but after a few hours we were usually able to switch off the air conditioning or set it to a target temperature of 21 degrees.

Yes, it can be done. Our blind does go behind the outdoor unit, but not all the way down. The tube that connects the 2 units is not so easy to handle. In any case, it's good air conditioning.
