I had some problems with Bluetooth at the beginning, things like: not recognised during installation, takes a long time to recognise when switched on, in game I had some delays and even didn't respond to button presses! I have now tested it again, there was also a W10 update with the switching on of the controller! Didn't have any current errors, controller was recognised quickly when switched on, no delay or not reacting to buttons! Whether it should be faster in the meantime, ka possible, since one has already massive differences with HDMI cable! Maybe there will be fibre optic cables and then it will be faster again! So according to my recommendation it's okay!

Quote Xbox support page: "No. Controllers and accessories that are compatible with Xbox 360 are not compatible with Xbox One (and vice versa). The power adapter of the Xbox 360 also cannot be connected to the Xbox One console and does not provide the correct voltage."

Yes, you can also operate the controller via USB cable without any problems, but I can highly recommend the wireless adapter. There are two connections at the bottom, one is a 3.5mm, which is intended for a microphone, the one to the right, which you mean, is intended for connecting an adapter for stereo headsets. Yes, it is compatible and yes, you need a dongel (but I also recommend a USB cable because with Windows 10 you can install the Xbox Accessories app and then update and configure the controller via cable). But I have made the experience that many games lack a configured profile for Xbox One controllers (Valve's own games usually have a profile). Applications such as Padstarr or Pinaccle were originally developed for 360 controllers and do not run under W10 or cannot configure my controller with them. Currently I try to configure most games with Joy2Key, but it's very tedious. My goal was to play all PC games from the living room, but I will probably have to use a mouse and keyboard again and use a console in the living room. Personally, the products are still not mature enough and take the fun out of gaming. But if you like to try it out and are willing to invest a lot of time, then you're welcome to buy it. Where there's a will, there's a way!
