Is this gamepad compatible with Steam Link? If so, with or without a dongle?

Helpful answer

Yes, it is compatible and yes, you need a dongel (but I also recommend a USB cable because with Windows 10 you can install the Xbox Accessories app and then update and configure the controller via cable). But I have made the experience that many games lack a configured profile for Xbox One controllers (Valve's own games usually have a profile). Applications such as Padstarr or Pinaccle were originally developed for 360 controllers and do not run under W10 or cannot configure my controller with them. Currently I try to configure most games with Joy2Key, but it's very tedious. My goal was to play all PC games from the living room, but I will probably have to use a mouse and keyboard again and use a console in the living room. Personally, the products are still not mature enough and take the fun out of gaming. But if you like to try it out and are willing to invest a lot of time, then you're welcome to buy it. Where there's a will, there's a way!

If you have an Nvidia card installed, take a look at the Nvidia Shield TV ;)
Cool thing to play games in the living room via a gamepad (has a gamepad with it and can also use the xbox one controller or any bluetooth controller I think)
