Can anyone recommend a powerbank?

The best option is the additional head strap with built-in battery. Otherwise, at least 2A at the output applies. If there is one with more output power, it could be better. My experience with 2A is that the Occulus empties despite the power bank. For me, the glasses are empty faster than my attached (large) power bank.

With Update 28, you can use the glasses without a cable via the PC. This was possible before but only via third-party software. With Update 28, it is integrated into the glasses by default. Update 28 will be available sometime in April. The prerequisite for the function is a fast wireless connection, see the pages on the Internet. Vrnerd punkt de as an example. Apart from the price, there is nothing to be said against the link cable; it is certainly the most stable option.

Hi Martha I had the same dilemma and decided to buy the Oculus Quest 2 256 GB in the end. I've played Half-Life: Alyx on SteamVR via Oculus Link using the official cable (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/oculus-link-kabel-oculus-quest-gaming-zubehoer-13804011). And I have to say, it exceeded my expectations by far. It runs with a stable 90 fps on my Geforce RTX 3080.. You do have to enable it in the Oculus App for PC first though. The setup is super easy and if you want to play games like Beat Saber later on, it really helps the experience if you don't have to be hooked to a pc all the time. The tracking of the controllers is superb, which seems to be a big issue with the HP Reverb G2. I've done a lot of research, before finally settling with the Quest 2 and haven't regretted my decission one bit. :) I do have to add, that this is my first VR Headset tough. I hope this helps. Cheers!

Via link cable, no losses are to be expected. Wirelessly, the 5ghz router should only be a few metres away without a wall in between. Otherwise the speed is throttled and leads to interruptions. Otherwise, the picture transmission is just as good as with the link cable.

The Roblox game is not available directly from the Oculus Quest Store. However, if you have a gaming PC, you can buy and install the game via Link / Remote Desktop App on the PC and then play it in the Quest.

Batteries have 1.5V. However, rechargeable batteries usually only have 1.2V. According to https://forums.oculusvr.com/community/discussion/93464/anyone-use-li-ion-rechargeable-batteries-for-quest, however, operation should be possible with rechargeable batteries. Panasonic eneloop Smart & Quick Charger BQ-CC55 (charger incl. rechargeable battery, 4pcs, AA, 1900mAh) Panasonic BQ-CC17 (Charger incl. rechargeable battery, 4pcs., AA, 1900mAh)

You only need the internal memory for games and apps that are installed directly on the glasses. That is, if you use the Quest 2 without a PC. VRchat can also be installed on the Quest 2, but most Worlds look very bad on it and only Quest-compatible avatars can be displayed. If you have it connected to your PC most of the time anyway, the 256GB version isn't really worth it. Ah yes, to connect the thing to the PC you have to buy an extra USB-C cable. Because the one in the box is barely a metre long. But with a few tricks, the Quest can also be connected to the PC via WLAN.

You live in Zurich Altstetten? The nearest Digitec branch is less than 2km away from you... C'mon! Instead of complaining here, you could have made the effort and just picked up your order in the shop (on foot!). If you're lazy enough, you have to be able to wait... The main thing is to vent your home-made frustration here...
