Hello Ueli I bought the product and can tell you that no additional ear pads are included. However, there are different mod kits from Astro (e.g. https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/logitech-astro-a40tr-mod-kit-blue-ww-over-ear-black-blue-kopfhoerer-10144676). As far as I know, these are then closed. But so far I play with the open system and hear steps and details very precisely (play MW: Warzone) - you can also try it out without the mod kit first and then get these in addition if the ambient noise is so loud that you need the closed pads.

It's a little better made, the xbox app astro only works on the black one. I don't notice much difference in the sound. The disadvantage is the lack of a power button.
