Quick question: Does the monitor have a film on it that you have to peel off when you buy it new? I'm not sure if I have a protective film on it or if it just looks like that... At the edges and corners, it almost looks as if you could peel something off. But I'm afraid that I might destroy the monitor :-) Thank you and best regards

Yes, there is a protective film around the edges that can be carefully removed.
There is no protective film on the surface of the picture.
