LG 27ud88-W
3840 x 2160 Pixels, 27"
in 2-3 weeks, it says ;-)
Yes, I also find the whole thing very confusing, even with TN, IPS and VA panels you quickly lose the overview, but I found the advice here: https://www.gameforest.de/hardware/gaming-monitor/ very good I found my new gaming monitor!
There is a "reader mode" that significantly reduces blue light. It has night mode, but calls it something else.
Sorry, got the model wrong.
Hey Digisnow, Gemäss folgendem Artikel ist dies hier ein guter Nachfolger: LG 27UL850-W (27", 3840 x 2160 Pixels) Artikel: https://geek-magazin.com/lg-27ud88-w-4k-uhd-usb-c-monitor/ Ich hoffe ich konnte dir so helfen.
Unfortunately, this item is sold out with us and we have no information on if or when it will be available again. Sorry.
I had a Swiss mains plug with me. By the way, Digitec is obliged to supply a Swiss power plug. If Digitec forgets this, one can be requested free of charge.
I have a MacBook and a 15.4-inch MacBook Pro on both, the LG charges via USB-C
I use this monitor together with a MacBook Pro late 2016 (on an OWC dock) without any problems. So I think it should work with yours too.
Yes, that's what I have.
What do you mean? I don't see this 22% discount posted anywhere.
Now, for example, it is more than 100 francs cheaper than its successor...
The screen is compatible with the XBox One X. For example, via the HDMI port.
Yes, there is a USB-C cable included but it is only about 1m long.
Yep, works perfectly with the Switch. Has 3.5mm and USB-C connection.
If the product is supplied with something other than a Swiss plug, please contact customer service so that they can supply you with an appropriate adapter or cable.
According to https://support.apple.com/de-ch/HT206587, a late 2012 Mac mini should be able to drive a 3840 x 2160 pixel display, but only at 30 Hz, which admittedly isn't exactly a hit. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=re74_0fIUXs And according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Native_resolution, the image would not look good on a 4K monitor with a 2560 x 1600 pixel signal. I will probably look around for another monitor for the time being :-(
With a MacBook Pro 15" 2016, charging via the USB-C port connected to the display in question works very well.
Yes, it is possible to connect a Microsoft Surcace Book 2 with USB-C and it will also charge with it. The monitor itself does not have built-in speakers but has a 3.5 mm jack for headphones or external speakers.
My monitor is also on the table, but I looked behind the removable foot and my monitor actually has 4 screws behind the foot suspension in a 100x100 mm grid. Unfortunately, that's all I can say about it.
The monitor came with a French plug. I was supplied with Swiss plugs... so any plug will work
Why not just use miniDP to DP? For example the following product: Delock Mini-DP to DP, 1m, V1.2, 4K support (1m, Entry, Black)
The promotion ends on 15.05, but each offer is only valid while stocks last. This is also declared with the corresponding article: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/page/grosser-monitorsale-bis-zum-1505-7469
The screen is sufficiently anti-reflective for my taste. You can see a few reflections when it is switched off, but they are only blurred due to the matt coating. I think the right balance has been found here between a matte display and high picture quality.
Yes, this is possible. No kit is required. The VESA holes are located directly behind the stand mount. Attached is a picture: https://www.prad.de/wp-content/uploads/2016/0707/lg-27ud88-w-monitor-vesa.jpg
The possibility of connection always exists, the question is what one expects from the connection. Asus unfortunately does not mention the Vivobook in the documentation about the model-specific USB-C capabilities: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1031591 The Vivobook is in a different category than a Surfacebook or MacBook (Pro) in terms of price and technology. Therefore, we have to assume that the LG 27UD88-W for the Vivobook S15 will only function as a simple USB hub, and thus neither charge the battery of the monitor nor display an image via the USB-C cable.
You can connect 2 laptops, e.g. the MacBook via USB-C and the other with HDMI. Mouse and keyboard via USB hub in the monitor then only work on the MacBook. You have to switch the inputs manually via the menu of the monitor. Can you connect 2 laptops via USB-C? Good question .... no idea. Does anyone know?
Up to 60W is output via the USB-C port. At full power, the MacBook Pro would therefore slowly discharge.
Yes, a USB-C cable is included in the scope of delivery
