Is it possible to connect a Microsoft Surcace Book 2 via USB-C to USB-C? (Picture, sound and charging) Or does the Book 2 have to have Thunderbolt? I don't want to buy the overpriced docking station from Microsoft... Many thanks for an answer

Yes, it is possible to connect a Microsoft Surcace Book 2 with USB-C and it will also charge with it. The monitor itself does not have built-in speakers but has a 3.5 mm jack for headphones or external speakers.
