Hello all Can my Mac mini (Late 2012) deliver the full resolution of this screen (3840 x 2160)? Unfortunately, I can't quite figure it out from the Mac's specifications. And if I can't use the full resolution, is the picture still reasonably sharp? Many thanks for your help :-)

Helpful answer

According to https://support.apple.com/de-ch..., a late 2012 Mac mini should be able to drive a 3840 x 2160 pixel display, but only at 30 Hz, which admittedly isn't exactly a hit. See https://www.youtube.com/watch

And according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki..., the image would not look good on a 4K monitor with a 2560 x 1600 pixel signal.

I will probably look around for another monitor for the time being :-(

Your Mac only supports a resolution up to 2560 x 1600 pixels
