Spontaneously I would say no, with i9 and 3080 the power hunger is simply too great to be permissible with the old specifications. The specifications were only recently adjusted upwards, I would be surprised if this had already been implemented.

Hello, yes make sure you set a max frame rate in the settings for each game, e.g. 60 FPS. It may also help to set the processor power to max 99% not 100%, you can find instructions for this in Google.
The maximum operating temperature for this processor is 100°.
