I bought this beast. It gets very hot while I'm playing. For example, when I play Lost Ark, the notebook likes to get close to 100 degrees. Is that normal? Can't anything happen? Would the notebook tell me if it was unhealthily hot and could cause damage?

Helpful answer

Hello, yes make sure you set a max frame rate in the settings for each game, e.g. 60 FPS. It may also help to set the processor power to max 99% not 100%, you can find instructions for this in Google.

The maximum operating temperature for this processor is 100°.
Have you measured CoreTemp?

i9 with RTX3080 with 32GB RAM for over 3000.- and you only use it for office applications? A notebook for under 1000 would have sufficed for that. But well, now you're ready for it if you want to game or do demanding video image editing one day.

I only need my Legion 7 for office applications and internet communication. This means that the processor load is not so high and the operating temperature is always normally warm.
