Hello, Please note that PowerDelivery (Charing over USB-C) is an optional function of the USB-C port - it depends on the laptop manufacturer if they would enable this. I have checked the manual to the laptop and Dell does not mention that PowerDelivery is supported. Best Regards i-tec team

Hello, On/Off button can only turn the docking station. But Dell has a setting called /Power on AC" in BIOS - when this option is enabled, the laptop will turn on automatically if laptops will start receiving power. So if you would turn on the docking station, the docking station would start charging your laptop and the laptop would turn on automatically. Best Regards i-tec Team

To rule out a fault with the docking station, I would test the docking station on another device. A look in the device manager can reveal possible (driver) problems. When testing the speed, wifi should always be deactivated. How do you test the speed?

Should also work with the X13. Need this dock with a Levono L490. Works with 2* 24" monitors & internal display, without problems. Just connect the USB-C cable and everything (network, screen, keyboard, mouse and the battery is charged) is connected. The only limitation with the L490 is the resolution of max. 1920*1080, but this is up to the Intel GPU. If one monitor is operated with 1920*1200 or higher, the other 2 monitors can only be operated with XGA.

Hello, Unfortunately, it is not possible to have 3 external monitors at 2560x1440 resolution with your laptops. In order for that to be possible, the laptop's GPU must support DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC. And unfortunately, Intel GPU does not support it yet. But we have another docking station - CATRIPLE4KDOCKPD - that is a combination of 2 different technologies and you'll be able to use this docking station with 3 external monitors at 2560x1440 resolution with Lenovo T580. In order for HDMI output to work, the laptop's USB-C port must support native Video Transfer over USB-C (either USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode or Thunderbolt3) - Lenovo T580 meets these requirements. I do not know about Dell XPS13 as I would need the exact type. If you would have more questions, please do not hesitate to contact our technical support: support@itecproduct.com Best regards i-tec Team

Hello, I apologise for the inconvenience. For the video outputs to work, the laptop's USB-C port must support either the alternative USB-C DisplayPort mode or Thunderbolt3 (native video transfer via USB-C). I check the manual for your laptop and they don't mention support for either of these modes. So unfortunately it looks like the laptop does not meet the requirements. If you were looking for CADUAL4KDOCK, this docking station would be the best for you - but it is based on DisplayLink technology and these docking stations are mainly for office work. ----------------------- Hello, No, it is not possible to use this docking station if the laptop does not have USB-C (that supports DP Alternate Mode) or Thunderbolt3 ports - video outputs would not work. If you would connect the docking station to USB-A (USB 3.0) port via USB-C to USB-A cable/adapter, only USB, LAN, and audio would work. But you could buy a graphical adapter to USB-A (USB 3.0) port and that you could connect to the docking station (or directly to laptop). And you could connect the docking station to the older laptop with USB-C to USB-A cable/adapter. Could you please contact our Technical support directly? You can contact support, they are super fast. I got an answer within minutes on Sunday. My problem was that my notebook only supports DP1.2 (Intel UHD620), so the bandwidth was "only" enough for 2560x1440 once, the other 27" monitor only went up to 2048x1080. DP1.4 is needed for three monitors.

Hello, Regarding 4K / 60Hz - for this resolution to be available, the laptop's GPU must support the DisplayPort 1.4 standard - I expect both Surface and HP laptops to support this. However, the MacBook Pro 13 "should only be supported if the MacBook has an AMD GPU. The Intel GPU only supports DisplayPort 1.2 - and limits the resolution to 4K / 30Hz. Regarding the DP not having a signal. Can you please contact our technical support? Would it be possible to send pictures of how everything is connected? Will DP work if you are using a Surface or HP laptop? Hello, This depends on the type of USB-to-HDMI adapter. If you want to use a USB-C adapter, these adapters will not work. For them to work, USB-C must support either the alternative USB-C DisplayPort mode. Due to USB-C technology, USB-C ports cannot support the alternative USB-C DisplayPort mode. My MacBook Pro 13" 2019 runs fine with it. The monitor is connected via Displayport, the keyboard via USB and the TimeMachine backup is also connected to it. What I like is that the monitor and TimeMachine only switch on when the docking station is switched on manually. The MacBook is also only charged then.

I have a similar problem: the docking only manages to display the image correctly on one WQHD monitor instead of both. By way of comparison, the HP Universal Dock (art. no. 7948748) with the same cables manages it without any problems. Does anyone here know more?
