Is this charger compatible with a C 3.0 usb cable with 5Gbps and 5V/3A charging? Or is the 3A too high compared to the 2A of the charger?

The cable should work (if it is type A to C), but the charger only wants to give 2A and not 3A.

Compatible yes but not optimal as new charging standards exist (Quick Charge), plus it seems the cable supplied is Micro-USB and not USB-C from the reviews. I would recommend a charger like this one for the P10 Plus (without the cable): Aukey PA-T9 Quick Charge 3.0 (Charger, 3A, 18W)
