No, the scanner scans double-sided even if the page is blank. To automatically remove blank pages when I scan a stack of documents, I use the free NAPS2 software, which includes an option to automatically remove blank pages, among other very useful functions.
Hello, the front panel can be tilted to allow different paper sizes to be inserted. You could also consider the HP 4302fdn Color LaserJet Pro, which is more recent and has similar functions. These are 2 very versatile, good-quality printers.
I decided on the one with duplex and connected it to the LAN, I think it's great! Much better than its predecessor, I'm very happy with it.
Hi B. There is a successor model: M479dw. But the existing cartridges won't go in there and the printer won't be available for a long time because of supply shortages. Can't you connect the printer via LAN cable? Then you can continue printing.
Unfortunately, no. fdn stands for fax, duplex, network. To use direct print you need the same device but fdw.
It does not work. This printer does not have Wi-Fi, see here. https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-color-laserjet-pro-mfp-m478-m479-series/19202514/document/c06372746#AbT0 The other models with (w) are not available.

It's quite a jingle with the denominations. I've already been fooled into thinking that full duplex was printing and scanning, but no, not at all, look at the spec of the machine to have double-sided scanning! It's a good idea to check the specs of the machine to see if it has double-sided scanning! Otherwise here are the official HP denominations fnw: supports both wired and wireless fdw: supports duplex printing and wireless fdn: supports duplex printing and no wireless. Good luck and greetings to all!
Yes, it also prints and scans duplex, as you can see from the description. It even does this at the same time, i.e. both pages in one pass without turning and therefore amazingly fast. But it doesn't have Wi-Fi (which I don't need).
No, unfortunately the 415A (yellow) toner is required for the M479fdn. The CF412X does not fit.
Good evening Getting cartridges into this machine might prove difficult. I would recommend the toners recommended by Digitec in the printer's accessories category. There you will find all the toners you need. Kind regards
So far, my experience with Digitec has been exclusively good: every promised deadline has been met.
