Yes, it also works with the housing, and kept the camera warmer for me for longer, at least in my opinion, as it tends to shut down at -10 degrees without the housing and at around -15 degrees with it. Should also be waterproof Depending on how you want to attach it, it would be advisable to buy the mount pack. Gives you a bit more space (longer neck, adjustable neck) and gives you additional adhesive plates if you want multiple positions/helmets. Yes.
Sorry, I have the Hero2 (round lens) not the 3. My buddy's session was directly destroyed when he hit the lens (housing and lens broken).
Yes, as far as I can tell from the pictures and videos I use the case with the Hero Black 7. Both are waterproof (up to a few metres deep).
The backs are for the same Hero model. The "same" closed back is simply replacement (waterproof for diving). The open back is for outdoor activities (when the "diving case" is to be used as a protective case and you want to use the touch screen

I have a Gopro 5 and there you set FPS / resolution etc. via the touchscreen, either you have to do that before you put the camera in the housing or via the app on your phone. Underwater you can switch between video and photo mode with one button. You can also start recording and switch the camera on/off.
No, it is only compatible with the GoPro 7 Black and, according to the description, it is leak-proof up to 60 metres.
Unfortunately, we cannot obtain the replacement gasket individually from one of our suppliers.
Hello Cedric Yes, the housing fits the GoPro Hero 7 Black Edition. I am currently using this combination. You can watch a sample film of mine on YouTube. Just search for aperture Heinz.4.
Yes, it is compatible.
Compatible with GoPro HERO7 Black, HERO6 Black, HERO5 Black and HERO (2018)
Hey No, the housings have different dimensions (on purpose, money-making?) and new filters have to be used. The housing of the 4 doesn't work for the 5/6 either... at least these two have the same housings :-) By the way, batteries from the 4 don't work either :-S There are some from Gopro itself and some from Polarpro: https://www.digitec.ch/de/Search?q=super+suit
Unfortunately, we could not find a supplier who could provide us with the appropriate lens cover or replacement lenses.
Hello Michael Bermann I don't have any long-term experience, I bought the diving case because I dive with equipment and that up to 40 metres. However, one point that also comes into play when snorkelling is the protection against mechanical damage. The supplied "retaining ring" only partially fulfils the criterion of mechanical protection in my view. I have never taken the Hero 5 into the water without a diving case, but the manufacturer guarantees water resistance, which is why I would have no problems taking it into the water without a diving case. By the way, the lens is easy to remove, pull it out and turn it anti-clockwise. Greetings Daniel Baghdadi
