Garmin Hrm-Tri
Works fine with Strava app. But you won't be taking your phone with you in the water.
I don’t have the 6x but It works with 5s plus.
I use it with a Forerunner 945, so should also be compatible with a 645, ANT+ is ANT+.
That will probably not be entirely satisfactory. I think you will get hr, but not while swimming. I recommend a new Fenix. That was the best update away from the 910.
Yes, it also works with my Forerunner 245 Music. When cycling and running, it works tiptop! :) It also works perfectly for swimming, but with men it always slips off. With neoprene or a swimming costume, it also works great for swimming.
Hello If the Edge Explorer supports ANT+ it is compatible, yes.
No. Galaxy Watch Is not compatible with ant+. The heart rate belt is Ant+ and therefore the two are not compatible.
both have the ANT+ connection option, so this should work.
Sorry, no idea. I chose this belt because I also swim.
With this, it will certainly work: Technocraft fine-metal screwdriver set, 6 pcs.
Hy Mike. You simply need a USB ANT stick. Doesn't matter from which manufacturer. I bought the one from Bkool. It is no longer available at Galaxus. Works perfectly. Garmin itself also offers one. Garmin USB ANT Stick (Black) It is practically identical. Greetings Mauro
Yes, but you have to pair the headphones again and again.
The belt connects with ANT+. This communication is only compatible with Zwift with an additional dongle (Zwift uses Bluetooth). Garmin has released a new belt HRM-Dual for this purpose (ANT+/Bluetooth). see here: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/garmin-hrm-dual-schwarz-sportuhr-smartwatch-zubehoer-10503969. This works perfectly with Zwift (e.g. on an iPad).
Yes, the heart rate belt is compatible. Simply add it as a new HR sensor in the system settings.
I also had a problem with the belt, which is why I had it replaced. I get a connection as soon as I put it on. This can be checked directly with the sensors. However, data is only exchanged when the corresponding app is started. The HRM-Tri has the special feature that it provides comprehensive data on movement in addition to the heart rate data, which requires an application that can also process this data. In this respect, I do not see a problem with this behaviour. Also, the use of the HRM-Tri is calculated for one hour per day. This automatically reduces the use to the training and thus the time in which the app is also running.
That's right. It only works with Garmin. Convenient because no on/off button and good battery life
Hello, the compatible devices are listed on Garmin: https://buy.garmin.com/en-GB/GB/shop-by-accesories/fitness-sensors/hrm-tri-/prod136403.html. The Forerunner 235 is not listed. It could be that the heart rate belt itself works but probably none of the new functions.
