Question about Garmin Hrm-Tri
I currently own the Forerunner 235. In order to get a more accurate heart rate measurement, I would like to purchase an additional chest strap. Is the HRM Tri compatible with the 235 (heart rate measurement)?

Hello, the compatible devices are listed on Garmin: https://buy.garmin.com/en-GB.... The Forerunner 235 is not listed. It could be that the heart rate belt itself works but probably none of the new functions.
The HRM-TRI is designed for triathlon. It has additional functions for swimming and running dynamics. Your Forerunner 235 has both. This belt would be compatible, but you are much cheaper with the Garmin Premium heart rate transmitter belt or the normal Garmin heart rate transmitter belt. Personally, I already own all of them and find the Premium version more comfortable to wear.
