hello, the filaments have slight deviations in thickness of up to 0.05 mm, to use the other filament you have to change your settings. for further help please write on facebook(wale schenker) or watsup 0798724389

Hi the Flash Forge Adventure 3 is a good simple 3D printer if you are new to printing as it is very easy to use, results are okey for this price range, unfortunately for me it quickly became too small I needed a bigger one.

Optimal settings against stringing problem? I have had the printer since this morning and am busy with test prints. The results are "ok" but far from perfect. The first problem was at the beginning with the "autolevelling" which is not really autolevelling but has to be optimised manually. I think I have solved this (at least I assume that the spacing is now correct). If the 1st layer is a whole surface, it is ok. But this is not the challenge for a 3D printer ;) For testing purposes I used the "First Layer Test Extreme" as a challenge: Surface with many holes (round, hexagonal). Here I am still optimising, as the result is simply far from good or perfect. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2616378/files (First_Layer_Extreme_Test.stl) As a general question: Do you both use S3D (Simplify3D) or Flashprint? I replaced Flashprint with S3D after the first test print because the possibilities for optimisation are very limited. I would also like to know what settings you use that you are satisfied with. Maybe I am comparing apples and oranges when I compare the tests for the CR10S Pro etc. with the Adventurer3. In any case, I don't really like the stringing on my first real prints (simple parts with holes for screws). Regarding stringing, I'm not talking about small fine threads that just go away but really thick pieces that go over several layers and thus have to be removed with a side cutter. A screw cannot be pierced through there. For your information: I am currently using the filament supplied (in case this is also the problem). Thanks in advance for the information.

Hi, ... Well, with the original Flashforge filament with Flashprint preset, I didn't have to adjust anything for great results. I also use Flashprint for other manufacturers/material filaments, but of course in expert mode. I find this mode has enough settings for my needs and the possibilities of this printer. I do not know stringing problems in holes. If so, then only on the outside when several thin rods are printed next to each other.

I first bought the printer in December 2019. Unfortunately, printers with the old nozzle were still supplied at that time (see internet search). At some point the printer started to stutter constantly, even with a replacement nozzle (new version) that I bought myself. The printer was returned as a warranty claim and now I have received a replacement. On the positive side, I see that the second printer has been optimised. The changes I personally noticed are: 1. the new version of the nozzle is already installed when it leaves the factory 2. the part near the nozzle head, where the ventilation comes from, is closer to the nozzle head 3. the mounting of the rollers has been reworked (I can't say whether this is better or worse). in any case, a new arm for third-party material is needed here. Finally, I can say that at the moment my printer runs without any problems, even after long periods of inactivity. How long? I can't answer that 100%. In my opinion, the printer should run well at least mostly with PLA. If you want to print other materials such as ABS, I would definitely recommend a second nozzle, which is then only used for ABS. Note that the nozzle head can only handle a maximum of 245°C (some ABS need more), which is already the lower limit for ABS in terms of temperature. Also, do not bend the printing plate when removing parts, as this minimal bending can impair printing, even if it is advertised that this makes it easier to remove the parts. The distance between the nozzle and the printing plate is then not the same everywhere and this could lead to problems. The printer is uncomplicated and actually works well (when it doesn't have any spinners, as was the case with my first one). The results are really okay for this price segment. The slicer software from Flashforge is not very good. I hope to have helped you at least a little. Greetings

Hi, you can download software from the Flashforge website that allows you to load 3D models and then print them. If you want to design something yourself, I can recommend the software "FreeCAD". You can export your designs as STL files and then load and print them as 3D models with the Flashforge software. I hope I was able to help you. Kind regards. Sam
