Since it is only 16ohm, I would like to know if the volume is strong enough.

It is loud enough. Amazing and i mean amazing clarity! But if you Love Bass, that is it's weak Point and really fragile. I got Mine exchanged after a year because a loose contact. Sound Isolation is pretty impressive if you get a good fit from the earbuds.
