Does the toaster make an operating noise (whirring)? Does it smell unpleasant at the beginning, e.g. after production/chemistry, or is it odourless? Thank you very much.

Sali Sacha Quiet whirring: yes (then you'll hear at least that it's running!). Odours? No, at most that you will soon be able to enjoy delicious toasted bread! After a certain period of operation, I had to change the timer. I ordered it from a dealer in Germany and replaced it myself after a few days. That way I didn't have to send the toaster in and wait. DUALIT toaster: Best of for me!

What I like about this toaster is it has serviceable parts (environmentally friendly). I now need to replace the timer which sticks (fire danger). Why can I not get this 20chf part from Galaxus? There seems to be currently nowhere in Switzerland that sells Dualit parts.

Does it cone with the swiss power plug or something else?

Digitec (or any other Swiss dealer) is obliged to supply electrical appliances with a Swiss plug. If the appliance is supplied with a foreign plug, a suitable replacement cable should be supplied if the mains cable is pluggable or alternatively if the mains cable is permanently connected, a suitable adapter should be supplied. If the appliance is delivered without a suitable plug, complain to the customer service and insist on a cable or an adapter, free of charge.
