Question about Dualit 2er Vario New Gen chrome
Does the toaster make an operating noise (whirring)? Does it smell unpleasant at the beginning, e.g. after production/chemistry, or is it odourless? Thank you very much.

Quiet whirring: yes (then you'll hear at least that it's running!).
Odours? No, at most that you will soon be able to enjoy delicious toasted bread!
After a certain period of operation, I had to change the timer. I ordered it from a dealer in Germany and replaced it myself after a few days.
That way I didn't have to send the toaster in and wait.
DUALIT toaster: Best of for me!
On start-up (without bread) there is an odour. But that's it. The timer sounds very quietly, almost inaudibly. But you also don't hear when the roasting process is finished (no bell or anything like that).
But the result of toasted bread is unrivalled! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Simply perfect!
