Yes, probably, the delivery date is always for those customers who place a new order. If you have ordered one, you will see your own delivery date under the orders. Due to the scarcity I would pre-order one, it could go longer that they are out of stock.
I had the same problem, but all tablets are too dark in the end. That's why I bought the DJI Smart Controller. It's expensive, but with such a great product as the Mavic 2 Pro, it's worth buying because you don't have to fiddle with the tablet. The only catch is that you need an additional bag or you buy a bag for the copter and controller.
That's because of the sensors. They maintain the distance. I always use the speed mode because all sensors are switched off. But be careful when flying ;-)
https://www.dji.com/ch/downloads/djiapp/dji-go-4 here you will find the list of (officially) compatible devices. Unfortunately, the Cat is not on it (which does not necessarily mean anything).
No, it can only be controlled by remote control. The smartphone serves as a screen for the video transmission and various settings. As far as I know, this does not work with an iPod either.
The drones currently sold are not classified in the new categories, but are subject to special rules.

You may only fly as far as Swiss law allows (regardless of how far theoretically possible):

No. DJI drones only work with DJI glasses.
For the Mavic, you need either a mobile phone, a tablet (connected to the remote control) or the DJI remote control with screen.
Only DJI glasses (NOT FPV) can be used, but the Mavic is not suitable for FPV because of the delay in video transmission. In my opinion, goggles are not an advantage for the Mavic, and you are not allowed to fly alone if you no longer have direct visual contact with the drone.
very unqualified question....what specifically do you want to know? Maybe this article will help you...

this law does not say whether it is technically prevented, e.g. to be able to fly above 120 metres at all etc...you are simply not allowed to do it! As I said, maybe you need to ask your question a little more specifically about what you are interested in...general information about the EU standard (which CH will probably adopt for the most part) can be found in the link.
