I would like to use it to attach my desktop and my laptop to a monitor. The laptop will use power delivery to be charged by the monitor -- the desktop obviously not. Does this work? Or would switch from the laptop (using PD to charge) to the desktop (not using PD) fry the USB port (or more) in the desktop?

Hey, I use it also to switch between PC and laptop and it works, but sometimes it doesn’t charge properly unfortunately.

I have a DELL monitor that charges my laptop with an integrated docking station. Now I want to connect my desktop to the switch.
