Question about Delock USB 10 Gbps USB Type-C Switch 2 to 1 bidirectional 8K
I would like to use it to attach my desktop and my laptop to a monitor. The laptop will use power delivery to be charged by the monitor -- the desktop obviously not. Does this work? Or would switch from the laptop (using PD to charge) to the desktop (not using PD) fry the USB port (or more) in the desktop?

Hey, I use it also to switch between PC and laptop and it works, but sometimes it doesn’t charge properly unfortunately.
I have a MacMini and various laptops which I use in this way. Works perfectly. The important thing is that you use a USB-C cable that supports charging with the appropriate power. Important to know: the switch must be supplied with power via a USB port, you may not be able to use the USB port from the monitor for this. I had to use the USB port from the Mac Mini for this to work. Greetings
