Dell Alienware AW3821DW
3840 x 1600 pixels, 38"
As far as I know, Alienware is owned by Dell, so Dell makes these displays.
I cannot answer whether the identical module is inside. However, the AW38 has the same panel as the 38GN (not GL). I have also used the monitor in Cyberpunk for several hours, I don't hear anything from the monitor.
I'm not sure about that either. The model mentioned should still offer GSync Ultimate. Nevertheless, the monitor is a lot cheaper than the LG38GN950. Somehow that does not fit
Why not? It has an HDMI and Displayport input
The monitor is equipped with Nvidia's Gsync Ultimate module and should be compatible with AMD's free sync technology via Display Port cables.
There is only one version of the AW3821DW. However, there are probably several suppliers at Digitec (CH?, DE?) and therefore several offers. My monitor is perfect, even with a CH plug.
Unfortunately we have not received a response from our supplier and the manufacturer, I am very sorry. If we receive a response, we will comment on it here.
The Acer Predator is an excellent compromise. The Alienware is also a good monitor, but its power consumption makes it less interesting. All three monitors are still good choices.
From March 2021, the energy efficiency classes will be reclassified and many manufacturers have already started with this. You can find more information here: https://www.channelpartner.de/a/neue-label-fuer-energieeffizienz-verwirren-kunden,3338552
It just says in the description "offers 24% more screen pixels than the WQHD (3440 x 1440)" and that is correct. The resolution of this model is definitely 3840x1600.
