Yes. In the centre (black connector). On the outside are the connections for mic and headphones.

Theoretically, I could output a single sound, let's say music from Spotify or Youtube, and input it again immediately. So that I can then adjust the volume at the end via the small rotary wheel. Could it work like that or am I thinking too simply?

This sound card is not compatible with Xbox Series S. Unfortunately, I cannot find a compatible variant either.

I don't have a PS5 myself, but according to the Internet, the PS5 supports such HID devices (Human Interface Device).

The sound card is almost certainly based on the Cmedia CM6206 chip. The same as this product from CSL: https://www.root86.com/collections/item/295-csl-usb-71-soundkarte-extern/ This means that it is automatically recognised as an HID device and does not require any drivers. Windows XP can also handle HID devices. E.g. USB speakers are also automatically recognised by Windows XP.
