Yes.
I think so and that's why I have it in my sights. Can anyone confirm it definitively?
It doesn't matter in terms of image quality. You should have the full resolution with both. HDMI can also transmit sound. Displayport cannot. Displayport has sync functions, which are important for gamers. Personally, I would use HDMI for video editing. The most that can happen is that your two devices do not work well together with one or the other connection method. You'll have to try that out for yourself.
For me, it works wonderfully with a Sony KD-65XF9005 TV and a Sony HT-ZF soundbar.
Hello Buciboy If I have understood you correctly, you want to connect an AV receiver between the TV and the Swisscom TV box. Scheme as follows: [Swisscom TV Box] -------------[AV receiver]--------------[TV] If you connect the products in exactly the same way, you don't have to take ARC into account because the signal originally comes from the TV box and the receiver can only pass on the video signal. In plain language, this means: Sound via the receiver and picture via the TV. And finally, to answer your question. Yes, if you connect your products at home exactly as described above, the cable will work. Greetings John
Sure, why not. I don't own the devices, but my 4K devices do with it.
If I were you, I would use an HDMI 2.1 cable instead of this HDMI 2.0 cable. HDMI 2.0 can transmit 4k at 60 Hz. HDMI 2.1 can transmit 8k at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz. Since the PS5 delivers a 4k signal at 120 Hz and your TV can at least handle 4k at 100 Hz, you are better off with HDMI 2.1 for now and in the future.
Hi For ARC, the cable is perfectly adequate. However, if it is the newer eARC standard (for Dolby Atmos etc.), an HDMI 2.1 cable is required. Whether it is eARC is usually indicated on the corresponding connection of the device or in the operating instructions. Here is a comparable HDMI 2.1 cable as an example: Sonero Premium High Speed HDMI 2.1 8K Cable (3 m, HDMI) Here is some more information about ARC and eARC. https://hifi.de/ratgeber/hdmi-arc-und-earc-23537 Greetings GoldenSkull
The HDMI cable is HDMI 2.0 so it should support arc, your TV connection should also support arc. According to Google, this is the case from version 1.4. I would therefore say that it is possible to connect the Teufel Box to the TV with this cable, provided that the HDMI connection of the TV is 1.4 or higher.
Yes. Yes. Yours sincerely
The plug will be approx. 20mm or 2cm wide. Just like a normal HDMI plug.
Hello, no, because HDMI can only do 60hz. For this you need a Display Port 1.4 cable.
Yes, your TV has four HDMI 2.0 ports, so if you want to connect a 4k capable device such as the XBOX One X, the cable will fit tip-top.
With lower resolution you have more hertz and with higher resolution less. I cannot say exactly how much.
This should work quite normally in FullHD. You could actually buy any other (cheaper) HDMI cable for this. Unless you are planning to buy a 4K TV in the near future. Only then would such a cable effectively make sense.
Siehe in den Monitor-Spezifikationen ganz unten: https://www.asus.com/de/Monitors/ROG-SWIFT-PG27AQ/specifications/ 1) Refresh Rate DisplayPort: 3840x2160(60Hz) HDMI: 3840x2160(24Hz), 1920x1080(60Hz)
Would definitely be future-proof.
Good quality has its price.
I don't think that will work with 240Hz, because the PS4 can't output 240Hz. However, the following should not be a problem at all.
The following HDMI 2.0 cable is 5m long and I already have two of them: Lindy HDMI Basic (5m, Entry, Black)
The Monster Black has 27Gbps while this one has only 16Gbps.
5m unfortunately not, but 3m: https://www.digitec.ch/5672167
20mm to 10mm.
What do you want to connect? I only have my XboxOne on it. And for such purposes, that's enough.
No one can tell you that. In any case, I don't intend to cut the cable. ;) I have a lot of electronics in the vicinity: AVR, BR player, NV Shield, Swisscom TV, many (really many) cables, Sonos, Harmony and usually two smartphones are close by and I have no problems at all. With 3 m, I wouldn't really worry about it. Any reasonable cheap cable will do the job, it's a digital connection after all!
