I recently replaced a rather aged 8200 model with the TS 8350 and am satisfied for now.The addition of PhotoBlau ink improves the reproduction of blue tones - but the grey ink, which was beneficial for printing b/w photographs, has disappeared. The new device is more compact and has a higher resolution scanner. Provided it is durable, it is an advantageous solution. It is regrettable that CANON has not yet joined the emerging trend towards A3 format for compact home-office printers (print width 29 cm; feed of A3 media as single sheets from the rear).
