Hello Karim83
Yes, that is possible, directly in the device menu. This is not described in the user manual and in the FAQ's in the Brother Solution Center, but I just tried it. The device searches in the W-LAN menu for SSID's in the area, if you confirm the desired one, it asks for a password.
Greetings
The QL-820NWBc is compatible with various operating systems and connection methods, including LAN, WLAN and Bluetooth. However, I cannot confirm with certainty whether this printer is specifically compatible with an ARM-based Snapdragon X Elite processor, as the available information does not explicitly mention support for this specific processor type. Compatibility depends on the operating system running on that processor. For an exact answer, I recommend contacting Brother support or consulting the official documentation.
Brother label printers such as the QL-820NWBc are generally compatible with Brother DK rolls. Although there is no official support for non-branded rolls, some compatible third-party rolls may also work. However, it is advisable to use Brother DK rolls to ensure the best performance and compatibility.
The printer may not work with a Surface device with an ARM processor as there is no compatible driver support. The Brother QL-820NWBc does not have specific drivers for ARM-based Windows devices, which may cause problems.
The labels used with this label printer are mainly made of paper. However, there are also options for film labels that can be selected depending on the application. However, the most common labels are paper labels such as the DK-1201, DK-1202 and DK-2251, which are used for various purposes such as shipping labels or name tags.
Yes, you can print mailing labels with this labeller. It is designed for industrial and commercial use, including printing mailing labels.
It uses heat-sensitive printing technology and can print labels up to 62 mm wide, which is sufficient for most mailing labels.
The differences between the Brother QL-820NWB and QL-820NWBc are
- new CPU
- improved Bluetooth module - from 2.1 to 5.2
- improved WiFi module - support for WPA3.
So the new printer should also work in the app
Greetings Fredy
No, they are not. They are the DK-N55224 rolls. This is a thin cardboard. It is suitable for badges or appointment cards, for example. That is actually what it says in the description. However, the statement "incl. 3 LABEL rolls" leads you down the wrong track. This should perhaps be adjusted.
I received them a long time ago, it's an older order. But I ordered some products the day before yesterday and half of them arrived the next day. Even much earlier than stated. I have had a very good experience so far ☺️
Hi Erhoo, with the free P-Touch Editor you can design the labels inserted in the printer as you like. From multi-line to black and white images/logos, there are practically no limits.
I usually work with the PC version and rarely with Android (which works quite well for a quick label without bells and whistles). I have the printer on the LAN and not on the WLAN. But, that's why I'm writing an answer, even in the LAN (with DHCP static lease) the printer is no longer accessible after some time (it feels like 1 day) - it has to be "rebooted". I can therefore very well imagine the problems with WLAN.
