Hello Alion11 Yes, toners are included. They correspond to the capacity of the TN-421. See also here, under "Technical data" then "Consumables and accessories": https://www.brother.ch/de-ch... Tip if you print a lot* (*a lot = >6'000 pages per year): Have a look at the MFC-L9570CDW. It's a bit more expensive to buy, but it comes with more toner capacity and the toners are cheaper afterwards. Greetings

Hello Birdsofpray In a printer that uses toner, it is essential that the toner cartridge with integrated developer (roll) is not allowed to run out. Problem A: If the toner powder is too low, the printout will be very light. Full-surface images become increasingly lighter/paler towards the bottom. Problem B: Due to the lack of toner on the develop roll, the drum is worn out (damaged), which ultimately leads to earlier replacement and higher costs. Unfortunately, I cannot say whether there are still printers today with toner only as a "reservoir", i.e. without developer. Perhaps there are other users who will get in touch. If your main interest is to print something "empty", then I would recommend an inkjet printer. You can get these cartridges almost** empty / **Now: there is also a little left over for cleaning the print head, or for keeping the nozzles moist ;-) Greetings

Hello Manu Yes, that works perfectly. You have to select the paper type "heavy paper" in the printer driver and you can also run 280 g paper through the manual feed without any problems. The printer will then carefully feed the thick paper and print on it.
