I ordered and received the DT 990Pro here at Digitec in April 23 and the Y sign is visible. So I guess that's still the case.
I have the same, it works perfect, just put gain to High and it will work like a charm.
The headphones with 250 ohms are quite hungry and need proper hardware to be operated reasonably.
According to gamepro.de, 80 ohms is the maximum that the controller can handle.

These headphones are less suitable for the Playstation because of the high number of ohms, as the sound is reproduced very quietly. The headphones can also only reproduce stereo and not surround, which can be important for some games. If you are in a noisy environment, I think a closed headphone would be a better choice. PS: Regarding sound quality: I don't use them for gaming, but for music production, and the sound quality is great. They are also very comfortable to wear because they are very light.

If you use the headphones for gaming on the PC, I would recommend the Creative Sound BlasterX G6 (USB)... I also use them and they can even run at 600Ohm.
Hi Lebi, for a lot of bass I would recommend the 770pro, because it is closed. For producing music, it depends on the step you want to use it in. For recording I would also take the 770pro, but for the tuning of the music the 990pro is super suitable. Take a look at some videos on YouTube, there are some good ones on this topic.
Honestly, if you want the DT990 250ohm, then invest in a headphone amp.
I myself had a DT990 connected to a Marketing Bla Bla "300ohm" external soundcard from Creative. Only when I bought the Fiio K5 Pro was the volume loud enough for me. Without proper KV's that provide enough juice, the DT990 simply sound too weak and quiet.
Believe me, it's absolutely worth saving a little for an amp.
My way was Superlux 681EVO>DT 990>DT 1990 PRO, as amp I use the perfect Fiio K5 Pro and the DT 1990 got a Dekoni Audio Elite Velour Ear Pad.
