No, but with the Swisscom box and also with Sunrise with a Fritz router. With the Fritz router, it works very well and is pleasant to use with all the router functions. On the other hand with the Swisscom Box, the basic functions also work, but there is no interest since it is incompatible with the rest of the functions. It must be the same with a Salt box, since you need setting pages on the box that are dedicated to the Fritz brand. Too bad

No, it will not work like that. The Fritzfon works via DECT radio and requires a base station. What should the Fritzfon communicate with without a Fritzbox? It should be possible to deactivate everything on the Fritzbox that you don't need, so that it would only act as a base station. The Fritzbox can provide SIP for the Fritzfon.

I have my Google contacts displayed on my 7390, about 1000 of them. I can simply see all entries sorted by name or first name.... On the keyboard of the C5, I can narrow down the selection by choosing the first letters. There are no places or addresses.... There is nothing about this in the AVM C5 manual. Therefore, the question arises as to how the entries on your C5 came about....

"It depends", as the saying goes. If you have a Fritz!Box as your (new) DECT base station: Probably the easiest way is to register the Aton CL303 with the new base station (see p.36 in the user manual, https://www.swisscom.ch/dam/swisscom/de/res/hilfe/downloadcenter/fixnet/swisscom/aton-cl303/man_aton_cl303_ba_de.pdf) - the Fritz!Box or Fritz!Fon should then recognise and adopt the phone book. See also https://avm.de/service/fritzbox/fritzbox-7390/wissensdatenbank/publication/show/3290_Gigaset-zeigt-Telefonbuch-nach-FRITZ-OS-Update-nicht-an/ which a) indicates that this should work and b) points out possible sources of error in case of problems). If the Fritz!Box does not recognise and accept the Aton phonebook directly or if you do not have a Fritz!Box, try the function "Send phonebook to other handset" (p.19 in the user manual) on the Aton CL303. Both phones must be registered to the same base station (their old or the new one). If you have a Fritz!Box but the direct transfer does not work, then the "easiest" way is probably via the phone book synchronisation of the Fritz!Box: in doing so, you link a Google/Gmail account in the Fritz!Box as phone book (http://contacts.google.com). On the Aton, you export the phone book as a vCard via Bluetooth (p.20. manual) to your PC and then upload this vCard file to Google Contacts (to be found on http://contacts.google.com in the menu under "Advanced"). From there they are then synchronised in the Fritz!Box. Personally, I use the synchronisation with Google: With this, I enter/change all my contacts once, on any device (mobile phone, PC, Fritz!Box, Fritz!Fon) and also have a backup in case a device should be defective.

The FritzBox and the C5 don't really care which internet connection the devices are connected to, as long as there are the right connection options. It needs a FritzBox with a DECT base station (for the C5) and an external analogue telephone input, e.g. 7490. The THG571 has an RJ11 connector for analogue phones, so the multiple cable that comes with the FritzBox must also be plugged into the Thomson modem in addition to the Ethernet cable from the FritzBox's LAN1. Look for the correct sockets, adapters and cable ends: Just because a cable fits into a socket does not mean that a connection will be made. The telephone end of the multiple cable of the FritzBox is primarily intended for ISDN connection, so a small adapter is needed to bring the contacts on wires 1 and 8 to the middle two of the RJ11 plug.

Unfortunately I don't know, I have a Fritz Box at Sunrise, this is standard, it is the best router I know, I have also integrated a Medion phone without any problems. Try asking Swisscom about it, the box must support DECT... then I don't really see any problem integrating other people's phones. By the way, the Fritzfon is very recommendable. LG Cooker
