I ordered the a40tr almost a year ago and it worked perfectly. But this evening my PC suddenly didn't recognise the mic. Does anyone know what the problem is? I have already tried the headset on another laptop and it worked without any problems. So it's not because the mic is broken.

I bought the Astro Gaming A40 headset a few weeks ago to replace my old Turtle Beach headset (use it on the XBox One). I noticed that the controller adapter (as in picture no.8) is not present. Is something missing from my delivery or should this adapter not be there at all??? (The headset works - currently using it with the controller adapter from my old Turtle Beach).

The AstroA40 no longer needs an adapter, but is recognised directly via USB. At least, that's how it is with me.
