I bought the Astro Gaming A40 headset a few weeks ago to replace my old Turtle Beach headset (use it on the XBox One). I noticed that the controller adapter (as in picture no.8) is not present.

Is something missing from my delivery or should this adapter not be there at all???

(The headset works - currently using it with the controller adapter from my old Turtle Beach).

Answer

The AstroA40 no longer needs an adapter, but is recognised directly via USB. At least, that's how it is with me.
