Not included with this product, but can be purchased as a bundle.
You don't need an AUX splitter, the Astro A40 already has this integrated in the cable.
The AstroA40 no longer needs an adapter, but is recognised directly via USB. At least, that's how it is with me.
No, there is no such switch. Only the MUTE on the cable....

However, you need the MixAmp for this.
It can be used on any Xbox, whether Xbox One X, One S or the older ones. Works perfectly, have the headset too.

I answer my own question after searching the specs: yes.
not at all astro a40 is cable headseat then you have to buy astro a50 or if on sale at dicitec the brand new version of a40 that has wireless function but it is not available everywhere

Good day whiteangel, What exactly do you play on? Xbox, Ps or Pc? I own the Astro A40 Tr + Mixamp, A50 and the Steelseries Pro + Gamedac and in my opinion the Steelseries is the best headset of the three.

Hi, I know there are two models, the headset itself is compatible, but I think there is an xbox specific mixamp (I have the pc mixamp and no xbox to test, sorry)
According to the specifications, it is also compatible with the Xbox One.
A normal 3.5 cable is sufficient. I connected it to my smartphone yesterday...

No, the microphone works normally for me. However, it does not have a very large deflection in the sound display, if that is what you mean, but that is normal.
I personally find music very good with the A40. Good bass, very balanced and above all you can wear the headset for a long time because it is very comfortable.

Yes, this is no problem via the SPDIF Out. In Windows under sound you should select Astro MixAmp pro Voice as default communication device and the SPDIF Out as default audio. Hope this helps you :D

Hello Hausundhof That is possible. I would check if the Home Cinema has an Audio Return Channel, then it can extract the audio from all sources and output directly via the Toslink. I have this on the TV and the consoles connected to it via HDMI. The headset is connected directly to the TOSLINK of the TV.
I find the headset very comfortable and pleasant. It is fabric. I also have the Astro A50, but this A40 TR is more comfortable in my opinion.
