Questions about Apple Magic Keyboard

Is there a wired version. For the office, I don't see the point of having a BT connection. My old keyboard has keys that no longer respond!!! Or possibly another brand, wired and ideally Mac specific... Thanks

Hello, doesn't it work for the MS Windows operating system? It should also work, shouldn't it? Sure, it doesn't have a Windows key, but who needs that?

Which keyboard layout - CH or US (international)? Hello all, I am about to buy a new macbook pro 2021 with the M1 Max chip. My old macbook pro (2014) has slowly had its day, although it has given excellent service :-). Now I'm still wavering a bit about the keyboard layout and whether I should go for US (international) or German (CH). Since I work in computer science, many former students have advised me to switch to US because it increases the typing flow. The special characters and operators are also much better and the advantages are even greater for programming work. Since I live in Switzerland and have to write in German most of the time at work, the CH layout would probably come in handy. However, since I also do some programming and write texts in English, I have now considered switching to the US international layout. My former fellow students in computer science also said that the umlauts can be written quickly with the key combination Shift "a, etc. and that you can also make faster progress when writing texts in German on the US layout. Serious question, because it happened to me: Can a keyboard like this still be saved after a cat has thrown up on it? Cleaning, removing the affected keys and cleaning them underneath and air-drying them for 3 days have not helped so far. Prognosis?

Hello everyone. In my case, the Z and Y keys are attached as in the Swiss keyboard layout. Unfortunately, the keys are reversed when entering text. In the settings, the Swiss keyboard is selected as the input source. Do you know why this could be?
