I thought the thing was supposed to cost US$799. How do you come up with a price of almost CHF 1000???

The 1950X only costs a good 100.- more. This means that this processor, which is available from the competition from 412.-, is still too expensive. :)

So the Threadripper 1920X is currently no longer available and may even be taken out of the range, and the Threadripper 1950X is in the price segment of the CH market.

At Migros (Digitec) for 603.-, at Coop (Microspot, etc.) you can get the 1920X for 460.-..... so much for the bargain.... ;-)

Is the price still being adjusted to the latest changes? In some cases, the CPU only costs 270.- at other dealers. At that price, I would also buy it.

Pure Power 10 CM 700W Add 1x SSD, 4x HDD, 1x Blu-Ray burner, and maybe 1-2 small gadgets like front fan control. Need the PC primarily for image editing, video editing, and gaming.
