actual MSRP from the 1920X is 399$ so ... 603 is a ripoff (450 is a bit more normal for Switzerland ... we are used to pay way too much compared to other countries )
In principle I would agree with you, but AMD has only recently reduced the prices for the first generation of the Threadripper again. The market price for the 1950X is now 650 euros, the 1920X is 550 euros and the 1900X 350 euros.
So to offer a 1920X for 603.- instead of 687.- and declare it a sell-out is a bit cheeky, especially when other competitors are now offering the CPU for under 500.-. I know that there are also one or two sellers who are still charging lunar prices for it (including Brack, which I can't understand at all), but these dealers have probably never sold a TR before, let alone have them in stock.
Well i bought mine for 224.99€ in pccomponentesq ( its in spain though ) but even so i just sended my while pc for under 69 ( and i mean with everything i had to to take the rtx outside for safety reasons - but they put it without box inside the pc box )...... its all about comodity you pay more to forget the hazzle or you get it somewhere else and find ways to get it delivered
