After phoning support, it seems that there is really no information from the supplier, so delivery could take weeks or even months...paperlaunch.
I'm also waiting for a status update (managed to order one here as well), but I think in this case Digitec is not the one to blame, none of the other retailers (17 from toppreise) have any information on stock, all of them sold (some still sell) them on back order, that was written above the add to cart button at Digitec as well (I ordered regardless, accepting that it can be a long time). This whole mess smells to me like AMD incompetence. I would be surprised if it turned out that even a single 5950X made it into Switzerland as of now.
It is very frustrating when a huge hype is created as a blog post here at Digitec and then all but the 5600x were a paper launch.

Apparently the CPU is available from the supplier. I have ordered it in any case. Let's hope Digitec keeps its promise.
The problem is the procurement from Digitec or the supplier. Dealers in Germany have now received several batches of the 5950X and we are still waiting for the first batch to arrive. Other Swiss dealers are not doing any better. I have already experienced this with the 3900X and 3950X. Digitec really needs to set up its own Swiss wholesaler and bundle the buying power of the Swiss dealers into a certain negotiating power. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the current supplier for AMD processors and Nvidia graphics cards is simply not good enough for an online store like Digitec.

Unfortunately, we currently have no information on when the item will be available and when we will be able to deliver it. As soon as something changes in this regard, we will post it here.
@Digitec: When will you finally send out the code for Far Cry 6? I should have received it long ago.
I had the same problem. I contacted the customer service and got the code from them.

According to Digitec, approx. 14 days. This was answered by Digitec in another comment that I can't find at the moment.
Unfortunately we do not have any information. When deadlines are known, they will be posted on the article page.
According to AMD, the chip will cost $799. On digitec it will probably cost between 850.- and 900.-. Last year, for example, the 3950x cost $749 at AMD's keynote and 819.- on digitec.

No, such models have not yet been introduced. With 3D Cache there are only server CPUs.
