Question about AMD Ryzen 9 5950X
Is my assumption correct that launches at this level will always happen nowadays? (Launch=announcement, release 3-4 months later) Patience is needed, it's no use complaining. New products and the unusual demand (home office, scalping, bot orders) have completely eaten up the stock of what is actually available. Welcome to the land of 21st century pirates, yaaarrrr. Here's the deal. Nowadays, I expect a basic latency of 3-4 months for launches until they can be purchased normally. That way I'm never disappointed
The problem is the procurement from Digitec or the supplier. Dealers in Germany have now received several batches of the 5950X and we are still waiting for the first batch to arrive. Other Swiss dealers are not doing any better. I have already experienced this with the 3900X and 3950X. Digitec really needs to set up its own Swiss wholesaler and bundle the buying power of the Swiss dealers into a certain negotiating power.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the current supplier for AMD processors and Nvidia graphics cards is simply not good enough for an online store like Digitec.
