Es gibt 3 pins, also entweder balanced mono oder unbalanced stereo.

In addition to a Marantz receiver, I also operate the AKG Pro K702 on a Huawei P30 Pro and a Huawei Tablet Lite 5. Works without any problems. An amplifier is not necessary.

I had a similar problem. In addition to the K702, I also operate two K240s and a K72. The K72 is connected to the TV set. If, for example, I want to use the K240 via the TV, I simply use an extension cable (5 metres in my case). As far as I know, there is no original cable from AKG in the length of 6 metres.

Can anyone tell me how big the ear cup pads are? I need to replace mine from a Steelseries and would like to buy the replacement headset pads.

The ear cushions are 11cm x 11cm.

Do I need a headphone amplifier for this or can I connect the headphones directly to the Macbook?

You can connect it directly to the MacBook, but then the volume is very limited. My recommendation: Try without on the MacBook and buy an amplifier a few days later if the volume does not fit.
