I am looking for USB-C docking station for Linux that would support at least two , preferably three monitors (monitors are non usb-c ones -i.e. HDMI/(mini)DisplayPort) Would this fit my need? Or any other recommendations?

I bought this docking station because it is supposed to fit my Acer Travelmate (6 months old). However, when I connect my monitor (AOC brand), which is also only 3 months old, the monitor does not recognise any device. If I connect the monitor directly to the laptop, it works. In addition, my laptop does not charge via the docking station. What use should it still have then? Or do I still have to connect the docking station to the PC somehow?

What requirements do you have for the monitor? You can connect practically any monitor here that has HDMI or DisplayPort.

Unfortunately, we do not have any further information on this and therefore have to go by the manufacturer. The manufacturer states that the docking station is compatible with the following models: Acer Chromebook 14, TravelMate X349, P459,P259
