Reference Optical Quartz is the first of its kind and consists of 210 individual borosilicate glass fibers. The cable provides a stunning audio experience when connecting DACs, televisions, CD players, and Blu-ray players to amplifiers or receivers, as it has a much higher bandwidth and only one-tenth the attenuation of conventional acrylic fibers. With a bandwidth exceeding 150 MHz, which is not affected by bending the cable, Reference Optical Quartz far exceeds the requirements for high-resolution digital multichannel audio.
