Pioneering hybrid technology The hybrid technology enables the loss-free transmission of high-resolution HDMI signals over distances of up to 100 metres, as it combines the advantages of a fibre optic cable with those of a copper cable. The AV streams are transmitted via fibre optic cables, which are insensitive to electromagnetic interference.
