This active, two-channel DI box was specially developed for installations and stage applications where a stereo signal such as keyboards, DJ equipment or PCs/laptops must be transmitted balanced - and
without power supply hum.
Modern SMD components and low-noise ICs are used for balancing the signals and differential inputs to eliminate typical problems like ground loops.
The input section features jack and RCA connectors with link capability and a switchable 20/30 dB attenuation, which makes even very high-level input signals possible. Gound lift switches round out the feature set of this professional DI box.
The unit can be powered by phantom power from a mixing console, by an external 9V power supply (optional) or by means of the supplied 9V battery.
Thanks to the practical design (½ 19") the rubberized edge protectors can be removed and by means of the enclosed rack kit 2 units of this series (DB1A, DB1P & DB2A), screwed together, fit into a 19" rack.
